| How To Jailbreak iPod Touch 4G/3G/2G 4.1 with Greenpois0n RC4 on Windows or MAC Greenpois0n has been update to RC4 and is available for Windows or MAC. It is the first jailbreak tool which brings support to jailbreak iOS 4.1 on any iPod Touch specially iPod Touch 2G MC Models. iPod Touch 4G and 3G were already supported. In short, you can jailbreak iPod Touch 4.1 firmware on any compatible device and jailbreak is untethered using the exploit used in Limera1n. Note: Before proceeding make sure that your iPod Touch is running stock 4.1 firmware .
- Download Greenpois0n for Windows or MAC.
- Run Greenpois0n.Turn off your iPod Touch and plug into computer.
- Click on “Prepare for Jailbreak (DFU)”
- The following instructions are given by Greenpois0n to enter iPod Touch into DFU mode.
- Press and Hold Sleep Button for two seconds
- While holding sleep; press and hold home for ten seconds.
- Release sleep button; continue holding home for fifteen seconds.
- iDevice is now ready to be jailbroken. Hit “Jailbreak”
- You have to wait till it flashes “Jailbreak Complete”h
- There should be a Loader app on home screen. Use it to install Cydia
